Mortgage interest rate down to 1.84%

Following my musings as to whether Halifax would let their tracker rates go any lower I can now answer “yes”. Pegged as we are at 0.16% below the Band of England rate, we’ve paying 1.84%.

I hate to be an anorak about this but… the aircraft shown on the page about the origins of the English Rose kitchen is… a Hurricane. NOT a Spitfire. The Hurricane had a lot less aluminium in it than the Spitfire.
